Product & Process Competency Group (PPC)

- Identify, establish and strengthen transversal competencies on products & processes by medium-long term projects and pipeline of exploratory research
- Network with Universities, research institutes to keep update on technology evolution and establish long-term partnerships on required competencies
- Communicate with SG R&D community on potential innovations and global solutions
Computation and Instrumentation Technology (CIT)
Transversal team in the field of digital and computer aided simulation
Key focus:
- Computer simulation for designing/optimizing products and processes
- AI assisted digital solutions for data/equipment connectivity, material informatics and AI enhanced prediction tools for products and sales
- High level mechanical testing and instrumentation capabilities (optics, non-destructive methods)
- Explore and implement advanced digital technologies for manufacturing (process control, I4.0, machine vision) and operations
